The Fullerton RWF -
is awarded to a Fullerton resident that is a graduating high school senior. The scholarship is to assist with college expenses for students attending college in the fall.
A $1,000 award will be based on academic achievement, school activities, community involvement, civic activities, and constructive thought demonstrated in the essay.
Applicant Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be a registered Republican
Must be a graduating senior: from a Fullerton or FJUHSD high school; or a resident of Fullerton
Grade point average: 3.0 or higher (unweighted)
High School academic transcript
ACT/SAT scores (if you took it)
Two references: Academic/Personal
Submit a typewritten 1 1/2 page, double spaced essay on:
What is the significance of the Declaration of Independence in relation to the U.S. Constitution?
(The content of your essay should reflect your knowledge of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. In addition, include what these two documents mean to you?
Send completed 3 - page application, academic transcript, letters of references and essay postmarked by May 8, 2023. Selected recipients will be notified by email no later than May 17, 2023 and asked to attend the Fullerton RWF spring event ceremony on May 26, 2023.
